There’s always something happening around Hurley, and throughout the year you’ll find a fantastic variety of events taking place within easy reach of Hurley Riverside Park.
Our location between Henley-on-Thames and Marlow puts you close to some of the Thames Valley’s best-known events. From the world-famous Henley Royal Regatta and the spectacular Henley Festival to traditional regattas, country shows, live music and local village fetes, there’s plenty to look forward to during your stay.
Some of our favourite events are the ones that celebrate the River Thames itself. Watch traditional and historic boats take to the water, experience the centuries-old tradition of Swan Upping, or enjoy one of the local regattas that bring the river to life during the summer months.
If you’re looking for something a little different, you’ll find plenty of that too. From the wonderfully eccentric Gravity Grand Prix in Cookham Dean to outdoor performances by Mikron Theatre Company beside the Thames at Hurley Riverside Park, the local events calendar has something for almost everyone.
And, of course, there are plenty of opportunities for a great day out away from the river too, including Royal Ascot, local agricultural and country shows, food festivals, live music and community events in the surrounding towns and villages.
We’ve selected some of our favourite local events below to help you see what might be happening during your visit. Event dates and details can change from year to year, so we always recommend checking with the event organiser before setting off.
Staying with us and not sure what’s on? Call in at Reception and ask our team. We’ll be happy to help you find events taking place during your stay and recommend some of our local favourites or download our app and discover them all!
