How we are keeping you safe

To reassure you before booking, if the Park is closed due to a national or local lockdown we will offer a refund or you can move your booking to later in the season (or next season). If the Park is open but you are unable to visit us due to a lockdown or self-isolation we can postpone your holiday if you send us documentation to show the reason you cannot visit.

Before Arrival and Check in

Before Arrival: We ask that any customer feeling unwell or displaying symptoms of COVID-19 does not to travel to the park. Should you or anyone in your party develop symptoms we ask you to call reception on 01628 824493, the main office 01628 823501 or the on-duty warden who’s number is displayed on your welcome letter. You must then return home immediately. You are not permitted to self-isolate on the park.

Balance Payments: Please ensure your booking is correct before arrival and call us if you need to make any changes. We are unable to accept cash and you must ensure you have paid your balance in full before arrival.

Check in: We will be using a contactless check in which social distancing measures are in place. Please stay in your car when you arrive and a warden will meet you at your car to check you in and issue you with your welcome leaflet containing information on keeping safe on the park.

Customers only on the park: We are currently not allowing visitors or deliveries on to the park.

Cars: We allow one car per pitch

Children: Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult when using the Shower Blocks. This is to ensure that social distancing is maintained and to keep both them and everyone else safe.

No Groups: We are only accept bookings of one or two pitches together

Shower Blocks

Timings: We ask customers not to remain in the shower blocks for more than 15 minutes to minimise contact and reduce waiting times.

Sinks: We have blocked every other sink in the Shower Blocks to allow social distancing

Hand sanitisers: These are located at the entrance to each shower block and at each bin area. Please use these when you enter the building.

Other Facilities

Launderette: Our launderette will be open, however we ask only one household be in the laundrette at a time.

Playground: Our playground will remain closed until it is safe to open

Shop: We aim to open the Park Shop for the 2021 season and will have social distancing measures in place inside

Washing up areas: These now have a one-way system to minimise contact. We have also blocked every other sink to allow social distancing

Chemical Disposal Points: We have two CDPs one at Shower Block 1 and one at Shower Block 3. Please ensure you keep 2 metres away from other people while queuing, there are markers on the ground to show you where to queue. If there are more than 2 people in the queue already please come back later. Please do not queue on the road.

Cleaning

Cleaning: We are increasing the amount of cleaning in the shower blocks and also have a dedicated team to disinfect the communal areas. A cleaning schedule is displayed at the entrance to each block. Our cleaning standards have always been very high and we will be including extra work to disinfect regular touch areas including door handles, sink taps and loo flushers. If you have any concerns while on the park please contact a member of staff immediately.

Outside Facility Cleaning: We will be cleaning these on a regular basis including water points, CDU, refuse areas, hand sanitiser units and dog bins.

Signage

We have put up signs throughout the Park to remind customers about social distancing.

Other Areas

Hire Caravans: We are disinfecting the hire caravans using a specialist fogging machine between each booking therefore check in is now between 6pm and 8pm.

What to bring with you: We recommend you bring disposal gloves to wear when using any communal areas such as water points refuse areas or Chemical Disposal Unit areas. We also recommend bringing your own supply of alcohol hand sanitiser and use it regularly. There is no requirement to wear a face mask however you are free to do so if you wish.

Social distancing: We ask that you ensure you maintain the 2-metre social distancing requirement at all times from anyone who does not live with you. Any areas where close contact may happen are clearly signposted including by the barrier. We have implemented a one-way system at the washing up sinks to minimise contact.

Staff: All our team have been trained in safe COVID-19 procedures and will wear appropriate PPE including gloves and disposable aprons.

Hurley Village: If you are visiting the local village please ensure you obey 2 metre social distancing. The village shop is open as normal.

Take Aways: Pirate Pizza will be visiting us this summer on the River Thames on Wednesday nights. The Rising Sun in the village are also doing takeaway food on a Friday night
