For many of our Holiday Home owners, fishing is one of the pleasures of spending time at Hurley.
Members of the Hurley Park Fishing Club have exclusive access to our peaceful private fishing lake in Cedar Field, as well as the opportunity to fish from our riverbank alongside the River Thames.
Whether you’re an experienced angler or simply enjoy spending a quiet morning beside the water, the Fishing Club offers another way to make the most of owning a Caravan Holiday Home at Hurley Riverside Park.
Our Private Fishing Lake
Located within Cedar Field, our private lake provides a peaceful place for Fishing Club members to enjoy fishing away from the busier River Thames.
Use of the lake is reserved exclusively for members of the Hurley Park Fishing Club, helping us to maintain a relaxed environment for those who fish there.
Fishing on the River Thames
With Hurley Riverside Park sitting directly alongside the Thames, members can also enjoy free river fishing from the Park’s riverbank.
Fishing on the river offers a very different experience from the lake, with plenty of peaceful spots along the bank where you can settle down and enjoy being beside the water.
Membership of the Hurley Park Fishing Club is available to Caravan Holiday Home owners at Hurley Riverside Park.
If you would like to join, or would like more information about membership, fishing locations or the Club rules, please speak to the Park Office.
Before You Fish
Anyone fishing in freshwater in England must have the appropriate Environment Agency rod fishing licence, where required.
Fishing Club members must also follow the Club’s rules and fish responsibly, helping us to protect the lake, riverbank, wildlife and the enjoyment of other anglers.
Please contact the Park Office for current membership information and a copy of the Fishing Club rules.
This wonderful photo, taken by Reg Baxter, shows his son Robert and grandson Oskar with an incredible 26lb mirror carp caught on our fishing lake.
