With the River Thames right on our doorstep, Hurley Riverside Park is a great base for getting out on the water. We have two slipways on the Park, both of which are free to use for guests staying on our Touring Park and owners on our Holiday Park.
Our smaller slipway is located in the Recreation Area, close to the Touring Park. It is ideal for launching canoes, kayaks, paddleboards and small boats.
As the slipway has a metal surface, we recommend launching inflatable paddleboards and other inflatable craft directly from the riverbank to avoid accidental damage.
Our larger slipway is located downstream at Hurley Riverfront and is suitable for launching trailed boats and larger craft.
The main slipway can also be used by people who are not staying at Hurley Riverside Park, with a seasonal launch permit available for £150 per season. Please contact the Park Office for further information.
You can see the locations of both slipways on our Slipways Map.
The Thames around Hurley is a wonderful place to explore by paddleboard. If you would like information about paddleboarding locally, including paddleboard hire available on the Park, visit our Paddleboarding page.
If you are bringing a boat, short-term riverbank mooring is available for a daily charge. We also have permanent seasonal moorings located upstream of the Recreation Area, subject to availability.
Please speak to the Park Office if you would like more information about launching, permits or moorings.
